The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts examinations every year to fill clerk posts in various banks across the country.
Those who have graduated from any recognized university can apply for this examination.
The exam is conducted in two stages for the recruitment of clerk.
Prelims are conducted in the first phase and the main examination in the second phase.
IBPS Clerk Pay Scale
The minimum basic pay is Rs 11,765 while the maximum is Rs 31,540. The initial basic pay is Rs 11,765 and an annual increment of Rs 655 is given every year for three years.
After 3 years, the basic pay is Rs 13730 and for the next three years, an increment of Rs 815 is given every year.
After the next four years, the basic pay is 20,095 and for the next 7 years, every year, Rs 1145 is given as increment.
After the next seven years, the basic pay is Rs 28,110 and the next year one gets Rs 2,120 as an increment.
The next year’s basic pay is Rs 30,230 and next year it gets Rs 1,310 as an increment.
The next year the basic pay is Rs 31,540, which is the maximum basic pay.
